This recipe is a game-changer!!!! It is very easy to make, incredibly delicious, and so much cheaper than almond butter and other nut butters. You won't be disappointed!!
1 cup raw sunflower seeds
1 cup roasted sunflower seeds (or 2 cups roasted)
About 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Cinnamon & Sea Salt
Directions: In a food processor, add sunflower seeds and turn on high. Allow to break down into a fine powder stirring every few minutes. Continue to process until a smooth butter starts to form as the oils begin to come out of the sunflower seeds. This can take some time (about 20min or so). Add dates and slowly add almond milk until a smooth texture is reached. You may need to adjust the amount of milk. Add cinnamon and sea salt to taste. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy!
